These services include construction management, engineering services, and onsite inspections for all construction activities, aimed at providing crucial support to the VA NCA Project Manager.
Long Island National Cemetary (Design Services)
Full restoration is mandated for both committal shelters. To conduct a thorough survey and ensure accurate measurements of existing structures, the generation of comprehensive Computer-Aided Design (CAD) drawings from scratch is deemed necessary for this design work.

Sarasota National Cemetary (CMES Services)
Construction Management and Engineering Services (CMES) for the project encompassed a comprehensive range of responsibilities. These services included construction management, engineering services, and onsite inspections for all construction activities, aimed at providing crucial support to the VA NCA Project Manager.
Our CMES professionals and onsite inspectors played a pivotal role in inspecting both the quality and quantity of the work performed, offering valuable insights to the Contracting Officer (CO) and Contracting Officer Representative (COR)/Project Manager (PM) on various construction-related issues. Additionally, they were instrumental in proposing economic solutions for any challenges that may arise during the construction process.
Part of the daily tasks involved reviewing all submittals and shop drawings and maintaining meticulous records in an organized electronic directory format. This included crucial project documents such as meeting minutes, daily construction reports, digital photos, and critical emails related to schedule delays, cost changes, and construction issues. Furthermore, WFS handled documentation related to contract modifications, payment requests, testing reports, certificates of compliance, and various
plans, such as security, fire safety, environmental protection, and health and safety plans.

The extensive restoration and renovation project within the cemetery site spans various crucial aspects, aiming to rejuvenate and maintain its infrastructure, amenities, and historical significance.
The restoration efforts prioritize the restoration of Committal Structures,ensuring their durability and weather resistance through the installation of new roofing, gutters, and meticulous interior refinishing. Simultaneously, the restoration of Public
Restroom/Comfort Stations integrates significant upgrades, including HVAC system replacements, plumbing enhancements, and exterior modifications, emphasizing energy efficiency and visitor comfort. The focus on Columbarium Plaza A involves sealant joint work and strategic bench placements to enhance user experience and maintain structural integrity.
Infrastructure improvements across Pump Houses, Maintenance Buildings, and Office Buildings involve comprehensive refurbishments to enhance functionality and
modernize facilities. Additionally, a dedicated approach to aspects such as cemetery signage, floral/trash/water stations, and tree care aims to elevate visitor experience while adhering to historical preservation standards. VA Medical Center Lake City, FL (Design-Build Services)
The project involved providing comprehensive design-build services, covering all aspects from labor and materials to tools and equipment for the renovation of the third floor at the VA Medical Center in Lake City, FL. The scope encompassed replacing existing finishes and installing specialty items and cabinets. Tasks included removing existing wallpaper, flooring, and cove base, as well as
handrails and wall protection guard rails in the main corridors. Also, furnishing and installing containment and HEPA filtration systems, implementing infection control barriers, and removing and storing electrical and medical gas fixtures for reinstallation.
Removing and replacing high-impact wainscoting, repairing drywall, and installing specialty items were integral to the project. New work involved renovating the nurses’ station, patching, installing wainscot protection, new vinyl plank flooring, and water-resistant drywall. The completion includes painting, installing fixtures, and ensuring a clean and organized workspace.
